melange of both Hindustani and Carnatic music so as to give her the versatility to play for varied audience.
Since then she has kept alive the Vasa style in a true "guru parampara" manner by proving her matchless acumen, talent and pure love for the veena at a national level. While conducting on the journey of music, presently Smt.B.Ananda Rajyalakshmi is a veena lecturer and Principal (FAC) at the Shree Tyagaraja Government College of Music And Dance, Ramkoti, Hyderabad.
She was given blessings by renowed artistes such as Sri Bade Ghulam Ali Khan , Sri Amzad Ali Khan , and Sri Chittibabu. Smt.B.Ananda Rajyalakshmi has performed in numerous capacities on various capacities on various platforms such as All India Radio Sngeeta Programmes, Jugalbandhis, Instrumental support in TV Programmes and movies. She has count less compositions to her credit particularly in the ragas -- Keeravani, Suddhadhanyasi and Charukesi.
Her scholarly innovativeness, clarity in speed , adeptness in using special gamakas like Andolikas and an ebility to effortlessly move from Western to Classical music, places Smt.Ananda Rajyalakshmi amongst the living legends of Veena music today.
